Mirrorless cameras and DSLR cameras both have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Mirrorless cameras tend to be smaller and more lightweight which makes them more portable and easier to carry around than DSLRs, and often have faster autofocus and can shoot at higher frame rates. They also usually have a larger selection of lenses available, as well as the ability to use adapters to use lenses from other camera systems.

On the other hand, DSLRs typically have better battery life and a more extensive selection of available camera bodies and lenses. They also tend to have better low-light performance and are generally more durable than mirrorless cameras.

Mirrorless cameras also tend to have faster autofocus and can shoot at faster frame rates. Additionally, mirrorless cameras can offer a live preview of the image on the rear screen or viewfinder, which allows for more precise composition and focusing before the photo is taken.

There is a curtain in front of DSLR sensors. However, since there is no curtain in mirrorless cameras, sensor cleaning is needed because the sensor is exposed to dust during lens changes. Sensor contamination will be a big problem as prime lens users will want to change more lenses.

Ultimately, whether a mirrorless camera or DSLR is "better" for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences. It's best to do some research and try out different cameras to see which one you prefer.
